New Chat Box

We've added a new chat content window to the homepage which will allow everyone to leave comments to us and each other. In theory you could also carry on a conversation about patents as it does update in near realtime.

Hello all, I've got a question thats been haunting me for about 1 year now, which just so happens to be around the time I was granted my first patent. I have been buried in letters fgrom companies from all over trying to get me to sign on with them. Many say you need a prototype, many say just renderings or cad video to proceed into the marketing phase. But of course each company has the greatest service and the most exstensive list of contacts. Is there anyone out there who has successfully moved from the patent phase to a sale or contract or something. Help!!. Thanks for any feed back.

I had worked in R&D for 3M company for over 26 years .. then took a buy-out
Before leaving the company one of the patents that I(we) had applied for was about to be issued.
I have been searching for this patent and would appreciate some help.
The product was "MACROLITE"tm and our patent included specific acid resistant coatings for such material.
