While we are happy to include trademarks and other forms of IP in the community sites (forums, wiki etc.) it is our intention to focus the directory and search features on Patents at this time. Nike (sports) IBM (computers). A patent (utillity) is protection on a new or novel idea or improvement to an existing technology. A design patent is only good for really descript inventions where the appearance of the device is what protection is granted for. And we can start getting these communities rolling also as far as what i can offer all of you, 6 years experience as a patent Illustraitor / Designer .
